The Independent
On 2 October 2008 The Independent published an interview with Anne Watson on the topic of preparing for a job interview and being ready to make the right impression. It has never been easy to get the right job but market conditions are tougher than ever so if you are going for an interview, it is important to be as prepared as possible. You can access the article via the Independent's webiste and the link is:

Summer Graduate Fair, Earl's Court June 3rd and June 4th
The Summer Graduate Fair at Earl's Court was on 3rd and 4th June and I was invited to give a workshop on how to understand what skills employers are looking for and then how to present yourself to them. I think that life is tough for new graduates so I was pleased to be able to do something practical that hopefully will encourage and help them in their job search.
Capstone, the publishers of The Definitve Job Book, were there with a book stall and they seemed to sell a lot of books at a discount.
